The first film by Chow Yun Fat in the action-comedy category, This Day I Called It quai Bran-eui was a classic at the time of its release. The movie has a compelling plot and great photography, but the ending is so predictable, and so flat, that it's downright comical. Another classic is from director Wong Jing's directorial debut, also titled this Day, This Day (pronounced this day). Director Wong Jing had a very good reputation back then, even in China, with several hit movies in his short career. But with this film, his reputation took a serious hit. With this film, Director Wong Jing had an almost one-sided view of violence. Even though the movie is about a masked villain who wreaks havoc, he doesn't shoot people with a gun. Instead, he shoots them with a lethal drug, which is injected into the victim's veins, rendering them unconscious, so the villain can walk up to them and murder them. All this in the opening minutes, and at the end of the film, the entire gang is either dead, or unconscious. I'm sorry to say, but I never liked this ending to any of Wong Jing's films. It was like a throwback to the Bruce Lee film/event. There was a time when Wong Jing was considered to be a great director, and he was once considered to be a great action-comedy director. He was considered a genius. So it's sad to see him doing the same thing again. I would give this film a 7 out of 10.

I'm not sure how much it was the director's intention to break away from the historical constraints of the Western genre, but his unique storytelling technique was clearly emphasized in the film. The Japanese feel and the action are always real, and only add to the realism. This movie is not for the faint of heart, and I believe it will be a significant milestone in the history of action films. If you're not into martial arts and just want a good movie, you will probably enjoy it more than I did.

.but this film is definitely worth watching. It's got a fine and often surreal sense of comedy that we've come to love in Wei Ying Xiong. It's about the ambitions and ambitions of a gangster in Hong Kong who kidnaps his secretary and takes her to New York to break her out of jail. He wants to strike a deal with the President of the United States and make a huge fortune, but the team that runs the gangsters not only hates him, but also the American President. It's a great premise that's beautifully played out, and the plot ends up being just as good as the rest of the film. It's got a very modern and very Hong Kong feel to it, and it's quite reminiscent of Mr. Smith Goes To Washington (1993), except this film has a better sense of humour. The cast is really good, with many Hong Kong actors and actresses playing their parts well. Wang Chun-tian is the most stand out. He has the most screen time in the film, but his performance in the film is absolutely wonderful. The use of language is very exaggerated, and it's one of the reasons the film is so fun, because it makes it so much more fun, because it's made so difficult to understand the plot. The music is very loud and includes a very modern and catchy theme that is reminiscent of the theme of the film. In terms of characterisation, the characters are all excellent, particularly Wong Fei-ching, Jacky Cheung, Jackie Chan and the little boy who is played by a very young young boy who is known in China for his 'transcendental singing'. I've never seen or heard of this kid, but I'm sure he's a very talented young actor. I must say I was a little disappointed that the supporting characters were given so little to do. It was the story that was the focus, and yet they got to act for about half the film. I was disappointed that the police officer in the film was given very little to do. I thought he was the most important character in the film, and yet he was so very important to the plot, but he was only given a very small amount of screen time. It's hard to find fault with this film, but it is certainly one of the more forgettable films I've ever seen. It's a very good film, but I don't think it's a film I'd want to spend a whole lot of time watching. It's one of those films that's great fun to watch, but it's not something that's really worthy of a re-watch.

Hwang Jang Soo is not a very good actor. I don't think that he is that talented. He doesn't seem to be able to play any character well. But when you watch him in the scene where he has a real showdown with his brother, it becomes clear that he is a very capable actor. So I say, the guy is good. He doesn't do anything over the top, but he does a good job. Jang Soo is a bit self-obsessed, and it is also very clear that he has been addicted to violence since he was a child. This is very clear in the scene where he is trying to kill a rival, but he isn't able to kill him. This is because he has a weakness of fear. In addition, he likes to play his brother, who is a bit smarter than him, and that's why he is able to kill his brother. It is also very obvious that Jang Soo is an alcoholic. So the whole story is about how he becomes a well-known person after he saves a man who has been injured in a car accident, and then he goes on to become an influential figure, because of a bit of luck that he got at the right time. The story is great. The fight scenes are great, as well as the whole story. This movie is a good one. I have seen many movies that are terrible, but this one is really good. It is worth watching.

If you want to know what they were trying to achieve by the last two films, this is your film. It's much better than the first two, with a deeper and more meaningful plot. A tough western action movie that not only entertains but also makes you think about the world. The dialogues are well done, giving the audience a realistic insight to the world they live in. Some scenes will make you laugh and others will make you think. The music is quite good, especially the theme of the film. And what's more the actors are well chosen. Not just a cameo of the lead characters, they were chosen for their roles and they performed them as well as they can. There are a lot of special effects, the most striking is the speed of the trains that pass through the railway station. The story is similar to the first two films, but this time the focus is more on the heroes and their struggles in this world of conquest. To do this the three main characters are well played by both Christopher Lambert and David Carradine. The only one I didn't like was Christopher Lloyd. He was not a big part of the story and I believe he was trying to make the film more like a superhero movie, which I didn't like. The action scenes are also better in this one than in the first two. And in the end, it doesn't disappoint. It's a bit darker and it has a deeper story, which makes it a better movie than the second two films. I recommend it, as long as you're not looking for a deeper, deeper film, and you can handle it's action and humor. Just don't expect it to be more than what you can tolerate. It's a nice movie to watch with your family or friends on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I give it an 8/10. It is quite entertaining and entertaining enough to keep you awake.

Since I saw the trailer for this film and thought it looked very promising, I decided to give it a try. I was a bit disappointed with it. The story is kind of weak, the dialogs are poor, the acting is subpar and the action is very limited. The reason I gave it 7 is because of the special effects, which I found really awesome. I would like to recommend this film to those who are fans of action/sci-fi films. This film is not worth seeing on a movie theatre. I hope to see some bigger releases from them, that's what I need for this review to be good.

Even though he doesn't really speak, the character is a great martial artist. All the actors do well and the fight choreography is great.

A team of criminals and one dedicated police officer (Li Tie) get trapped in a high-rise building with millions of dollars in stolen loot after a fire. It is up to the cops to find the robbers before the building is fully engulfed and the whole city is on the line. My main issue with this movie is it's pacing. When it started to pick up, it was pretty intense. The problem is the pacing just gets so incredibly slow and the movie tries so hard to catch you by surprise, that it just feels amateurish. When the movie got really intense, it felt like the pace just slowed down. Even when the movie picks up, the pacing isn't that great. Overall, the movie does have some pretty good action sequences and some impressive car chases, but the pacing is just too slow and it doesn't feel that great. This movie is also a bit strange, it has a really different feel to it compared to the other Chinese movies I've seen. It's really intense and weird. When you're watching it, it feels like you're in another movie.

I loved this film from start to finish, and I was left thinking about it and thinking about it. I also was having the time of my life watching this film. The story is quite simple, with a low budget, the whole film is about a serial killer and his experiments on unsuspecting victims, and what happens afterwards. I thought the story was excellent, the action and fights, and the feel of the film is so realistic, and the way the camera work is done makes the film look like a real story that's been in the news. And I must say the acting was outstanding, with all the actors playing their characters perfectly, I loved the actors, especially Chan Fan Gik, and the way they played their parts, and they are great to watch. There's a scene where the murderer's family are watching the news and they discuss the situation and how they feel about it. They're really emotional, I loved the acting of all the actors. Also, there are some interesting facts that I learned from watching the movie, like how the serial killer deals with his victims and how he's able to leave them as weak as he is, and he actually is a bit of a mastermind, who really is able to take a bullet and go to his next victim. I would have liked to have seen more of this but I'm not going to spoil it for you, I can only say that this is one of the best films I've seen in recent times. It was a very good movie and I highly recommend it to all, and I can't wait to see what Mr. Wu has up his sleeves next!

The movie has nothing to do with the book, it's an adaptation of a story based on the same novel, that was adapted into a movie, that doesn't belong to the same series, that's different. The movie "Eternal Soul" is another example of this, in this case a movie based on a novel of the same name, not a TV series, that's different. Here's my comment, do you know what you'll watch when you watch it? Do you know what's going to happen? No, not always. It's not the usual genre of action, there's nothing special about this, but it's a nice kind of movie. The acting is good, the special effects are good, the music is decent, the story is good. Watch it, you'll like it. I think that it's a very good movie, if you liked the first one, watch the second one. It's not a movie that you will want to forget, it's not a movie that you'll love watching, it's a movie that you'll probably enjoy watching. It's worth a watch. Some comments from my personal experience about the movie "Eternal Soul"

I love this movie. It's full of action, laughs and definitely a wonderful movie. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that it ended. The movie seemed to have a cliff hanger, but that is my only complain. I can't wait to watch it again, it's one of my favorite movies!

What can I say about this movie that hasn't been said already. It's a total carbon copy of the original Kung Fu TV show with the exception of some filler scenes that add nothing to the story. Jackie (Jet Li) is now a powerful martial arts champion and is attempting to take over the world by becoming the greatest fighter in the world. He travels to Japan to get help from an old ally, the Emperor's son, Son Goku (James Tsai). While there, he learns that Goku has grown tired of his life as a student and wants to be a real fighter and travels back to the US with Son Goku to be trained by Jackie to become a real fighter. There is a few scenes that could have been extended, such as the scene at the beginning where Jackie and Goku fight. I think that the movie would have been better off without that scene. There are other filler scenes, such as the one with the Dragon Balls, the fight with the Waa-Guns, the fight with Bulma's dad, and the fight with the evil god, Prince Vegeta (Jacques Dumont), but these scenes are not really important to the story and are only used for comic relief. The fights themselves are okay, although they do look a bit fake. Jet Li is good as the lead, and James Tsai is also good in his part. All in all, this is the best Jackie Chan movie to date, but I still prefer the first film. There are still better films out there, and I highly recommend them, but Kung Fu Hustle is a good movie, not great, but still decent.

I read a few reviews about this film, and after seeing it, I can honestly say it's not the worst film I've ever seen. Let's get the pros out of the way. The acting is solid, the fight scenes are well executed, and the action is great. So I think that's where this film falls short. Some people complain about the action being weak, and the direction is also criticized for being over-the-top. Well, I agree with this statement, because it is hard to take the action seriously if the camera is shaking around in the foreground. But there's more than that. What I think people forget is that the action is supposed to be hyper-realistic. The computer graphics in action movies have gotten so good that they don't even need CGI anymore. It's a good thing that the film is so light-hearted, because otherwise you could easily get bored by watching every fight scene. Another thing that people seem to be underrating is the plot. It's not great, but I like to think it's entertaining. I don't think it's too complex, or confusing, but it's an enjoyable story. I also think the film is very well-directed, although it does get a little goofy at times. But the acting, action, and story-line is solid enough to keep you entertained. What I didn't like was the "highlander" part of the plot. They should've made it a little more realistic. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that they cut out a lot of the scenes that were only ten minutes long. I was disappointed, but in all honesty, I wouldn't say I hated this film. The acting was very good, the story was good, and the film isn't too heavy for children. So, to sum up, I would recommend seeing this film, but if you don't like action films, I'd stick to that. I think it's definitely worth a rental, and it was a very entertaining film to watch. I rate this film 7/10.

Saw this movie on television a few years back. Had no idea what it was about, but enjoyed it immensely. Was also a few years younger than the star. Can't remember any Chinese girl who'd be considered pretty but this is true. It's a wonderful movie, just a bit of a strange romance, but entertaining. I'm not sure if I would watch it again. Although I'd probably recommend it to others.

This is one of my favorite kung-fu movies and one of my favorite movies of all time. Many people say that it's a masterpiece and they get the movie in the theater and afterwards they can't stop talking about the plot and the characters. When I saw this movie I had absolutely no idea what it was about, and I didn't even read the plot description. After the movie I was able to understand it completely and it's an excellent movie. First of all, this movie is very good, so good that I don't understand why some people say that this is the best movie they have ever seen. This movie was great, but I think it is even better than the original kung-fu movie of the same name. The plot is a lot different and it was very hard to follow at first. And because the plot is so good, the movie is also entertaining. There are a lot of action scenes in the movie, and some of them are very fast and hard to follow. But I like the action. The fight scenes are also good and I really like the choreography of them. The fighting scenes in this movie are excellent, and I really like the moves they use in the movie. My favorite is the finale fight, where the fight between the main character and the bad guy goes on for ages. This movie is great. I recommend it to everybody, no matter what your age is. It's an excellent movie.

This movie was very fast paced and enjoyable. The action sequences were pretty good. At one point I thought this movie would be like a computer game, but it was not. In fact, I was expecting the movie to be like that. But this movie has an interesting story and plot. It was not like a computer game or the Matrix. The first half was very entertaining, but the second half became slow and boring. I guess I expected this film to be a little more like the Matrix, but it was just like an action movie with no plot. It was very predictable. The first half was a little more interesting and exciting than the second half. The second half was pretty dull and boring. I guess the movie was just boring. It was kind of a waste of my time. This is definitely a movie to watch if you want to see some fast paced action. I rated this movie 7/10.

The martial arts star has a brilliant reputation in Japan and is now in the top ten of box office grossers of all time. All his movies are exciting and hard to pass up. The king of the Hollywood action flicks comes to China to revive his career as a martial artist. He is accompanied by the most beautiful woman in China, one of his best female characters in years, and a kick-butt British actor. They are about to go all out on their romantic adventure, and they run into trouble at the movie theater. How will this adventure turn out? This was Jackie Chan's second biggest film worldwide and, yes, it was also one of the few films he had directed, at least in China. It was Chan's first full-length film. He was an unassuming martial artist with a reputation that even the movie producers and Jackie's peers did not know of. The plot is standard, but the special effects and production design is spectacular. This movie is not as impressive as his best movies, but it's still very entertaining. The actors are all top quality, and they all put on wonderful performances. The movie will appeal to everyone, but it's hard to find anything wrong about it. The story and the action is both exciting and thrilling. The film does not disappoint with its breathtaking special effects, and it does have a good story to go with it. The plot is not hard to follow, but it is not entirely solid. If you can get past the flaws, this is a good flick. The best part about this film is that there are no special effects, as most of Chan's other films are. The plot is a bit thin, but it is the martial arts that makes this a good flick. This is a movie you will love to watch on a night when you want to spend a good time. Overall, I give this movie a solid 7. The film deserves much more recognition than it has received, but the film has many qualities that make it a decent movie. My Rating: 7/10

Budget gai wang and CGI romance. Though BTS acted well in the scenes, the whole film was highly predictable. The most hilarious scene was when J-Hope looked "cool" during the casket scene. Like he was actually a bad guy. Not enough humor. Good love story. Overall not bad. This film was a hit with the audience. I wouldn't say it's worth it for the movie but for the DVD sales, it was worth it. Though it was a bit of a chore to see the bam face (bam egg roll) animation, it was well done. For the story, I give it a 7/10.

The Li family are fighting to keep a secret from their son, Cao Cao. The Li's claim to the Iron Throne is shattered by the arrival of Jing Cai, an assassin of the Ming Dynasty. This is a fun and exciting western film. The action sequences are well done, as is the musical score. For those of you not familiar with this film, you will not get a clue what is going on and it will make no sense. Overall, it is an entertaining and entertaining film. It is worth watching.

A superb piece of Hong Kong cinema with an incredibly awesome villain and an amazing fight sequence between two former enemies, all wrapped up in a grand finale. The story of how two men with deeply different backgrounds met is truly fascinating and gives rise to some very powerful, heartbreaking, and ultimately poignant moments. The fight sequences are breathtaking. Some might feel they've seen this before, but in this film, they seem to be working towards a whole new level of brilliance. The story of how these two men are forced to work together again after years of war is a pure joy to behold and has an ending that will not disappoint you. On top of this, the characters are all extremely well acted and the plot is executed wonderfully and with a little bit of care. It is impossible not to fall in love with the two leads. The film ends in a way that is much more fulfilling than what you'd expect. In fact, I would even go as far as saying that it is probably the best Hong Kong film of the year.

To be honest, I had a hard time deciding what to watch when I saw this movie. I am a fan of Yimou's work in Chinese cinema, and I was never really sure if I was going to like this movie. But I am glad that I made a choice, because I love every bit of this movie. The script is strong and intriguing, and the directing and acting are superb. The plot is compelling and original, the cinematography and editing are brilliant, and the soundtrack is just perfect. I can't help but feel that it is a movie I can see over and over again. Yimou works in a very unique way, and the final result is a masterpiece. 7/10.
