Filmed live on stage at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, CA, this not-to-be-missed high energy show stars Original Broadway cast members Jeremy Jordan as "Jack Kelly," Kara Lindsay as "Katherine," Ben Fankhauser as "Davey" and Andrew Keenan-Bolger as "Crutchie". They're joined by North American Tour stars Steve Blanchard as "Joseph Pulitzer," and Aisha de Haas as "Medda Larkin," and Ethan Steiner as "Les" along with members of both the Broadway and North American Tour ensembles, filling the stage with more "newsies" and more dancing than ever before. Set in New York City at the turn of the century and based on a true story, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged 'newsies,' who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike and take a stand for what's right.

This is a fairly exciting musical from Disney. Some of the songs are memorable, including "Every Man for Himself" and "Do You Believe in Anything?" But it isn't a musical. The songs are really just a vehicle to tell a story, with each song being about something related to the main character in the story. There are some fairly good songs here, including "I'm in Love" and "Is It True" (both from the Disney classic "The Men Who Stare at Goats"). I was a little disappointed that most of the songs were written by, or performed by, musical group Disney - "I'm In Love", "Every Man for Himself", and "I'm in Love" are by the Disney musical group "The E Street Band" - but "Do You Believe in Anything?" is actually pretty good. The only song that's really bad is "I'm In Love", but that's because I think the lyrics were written by a guy with a pen. I also think the lyrics for "Every Man for Himself" are better, but that's because I think they were written by the same guy. But all in all, it's a good musical, and worth checking out.

I really like the part when Joaquin Phoenix and Michael Caine sing the words to "The Mighty and the Mighty". I'm glad I never saw the Broadway show but I loved the parts where they sing "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" and "Hook, Line, and Sinker". It's a shame they didn't keep it going all the way through. I'm not really into musicals but I did really enjoy this movie and I'm looking forward to the next one. The parts where they sing "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" are great and you just have to hear the words. In the end it's about a great story and the writers did a good job of taking it and moving it along. If you liked the movie you will like the show.

I liked this show. The way the songs are performed is quite good, and the characters are very well portrayed. I've never been a fan of Peter Sellers but he does a very good job. The movie is good, but the musical numbers are a little too long. It's definitely worth watching, but I'd wait until it's on TV or on the big screen.

I've seen this musical on Broadway a few times and I was very impressed with it. I think the musical could have been a little more meaningful if they had made it more about the adults. They did not include much about the children of the town. They did not include much about the people of the town. I think that is where they could have gone. I was very impressed with this musical. I think it would have been better if they had made it more about the adults and less about the children.

This film was supposed to be the one that would turn the television back into a movie house, but its a bit too slow for my liking. It's got a great cast, and I do think that it would have been a much better movie if it was just a short musical. The cast is good, the songs are good, the songs are sung and well, you know. In the end, it's just a little too slow for my liking.

I had seen the musical in its original form on Broadway in the late 1950's, and was moved to tears by the touching story of the Shylocks. This film gives us a very different, more true and real rendition of the story, and I think it succeeds very well. I liked the fact that it was not the conventional Hollywood version. And the story had a very personal touch to it, without the usual soap opera about the competition between the families. It was not about the haves and the have nots. It was about family and love and growing up. I also liked the music, particularly the theme song. I think it is one of the best versions I have ever heard.

At first I was sceptical about the film being on Broadway, but after seeing the performance of "Tulip Fever" on Broadway I was completely sold. The cast is superb, especially the guys. I can't wait to see their next movie. I have heard that "Tulip Fever" was inspired by "Yankee Doodle", and I was shocked when I read the song that it was not. I can see that they made the film slightly different, but I feel that it was more about "Yankee Doodle" and the musical, not about the songs. And I think that "Yankee Doodle" was inspired by "Pumpkin". The cast of "Pumpkin" was quite a riot, but it was also quite funny. But I thought that "Pumpkin" was inspired by "Yankee Doodle", not "Yankee Doodle".

It's really not as bad as everyone says. It's not as bad as many of the things it's supposed to be bad about. It's funny. And it's moving. And it's about the human race and the struggles of those who live in society. Yes, it's still a bit preachy, but I was able to forgive that. The actors are great, and the songs are great. And I'm sorry to say that it's a little confusing. The musical is a combination of songs and dances. But sometimes you'll have to sit through a song and then another. Sometimes, you'll just forget that the song is even part of the story and just hear the dance. But I do recommend this to people who enjoy musicals. If you don't, I'm sorry, but you might hate it.

This movie is an attempt to bring together the original cast of Newsies and bring them together on the big screen. As a retelling of the show it works well. The scenes are well placed and the actors do a good job. The problem is that it's not a great film and it's not the greatest musical ever made. The characters are well drawn, but they are just not the same as the original cast. It's too cliche. The songs are nice, but there is no emotion in them. And it seems like it was written for the Broadway audience. They just don't sing like that. The other problem is that it's a much darker version of the show than the original. The ending was really strange, and I don't know if they're trying to do that with the original cast, or if it's supposed to be. It's a good movie but it's not the greatest. I don't know if it was meant to be a musical, or if they just didn't know what they wanted to do. And I don't know if they knew how to do it the way they wanted to. But I did like the songs and the original cast. 7/10

I would say this is Disney's best musical to date. The acting is excellent and the songs are brilliant. The songs are definitely catchy and the choreography is great. Disney is a great producer and Disney always makes the right choice. This movie has some great stories and the music is amazing. This movie is an example of Disney's story telling. It has a beautiful story, great characters, and the songs are awesome. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who loves Disney or musicals.

I've seen this film many times, but still enjoy it. It's a real feeling of joy and warmth I've never felt before. The movie tells the story of the comedy troupe that's been around for over 70 years. You see all of the guys doing their own thing, with their own problems. The story doesn't have a traditional beginning and end. It's very unique. I just love the songs and the songs really bring out the character's, which is great. I love the stories about these guys. You feel for them. It's great. I don't have any problems with it.

Just got back from seeing this wonderful musical and singing from the first row in the balcony. I can't remember a more powerful cast of characters, and I can't think of a more beautiful cast of singers. It is the kind of movie that you leave thinking that you would have loved it if you were in their place, and wanting to see it again. Everyone I spoke to who was in it enjoyed it. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think it is worth seeing in the theater, or buying on DVD. It has a story that is captivating and believable, with some of the best songs I have ever heard. The show did not disappoint. It is a wonderful representation of a time and place in history, and will be a treasure for years to come.

A very funny film about the struggle of the blacks in America. The acting is good, but the film is not a comedy. The film is very much a celebration of the civil rights movement and is not a comedy. It was good but there were a few parts that could have been better. It is also not a musical but it is a comedy and does not seem to be a musical at all. I loved the film, but was disappointed by the ending. The end was very disappointing because I really wanted the film to end. It was just one more thing in the film that did not have any meaning and was not necessary. It is worth watching, but not a film to be watched at a party. It is a good movie that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is good to see the Black actors doing good jobs and the actresses are great. I give it 7/10.

In this documentary, an animated version of the Newsies, the original story by Robert Schimmel, is told through songs, images, and interviews. One of the most interesting elements of this documentary is that it uses a story with a musical structure to tell a story about a television show, which I think is a great idea. I also thought that the music was done very well. Some songs were sung really well, others didn't quite hit the mark, but I was very impressed with the songs chosen for the films. Overall, I thought this film was really well done and interesting to listen to. I would recommend this documentary to anyone who enjoys musicals and musical film.

This movie is NOT to be missed. I'm shocked that the movie has such low ratings. It is a MUST SEE! Everyone should go see this. I gave it a 7 out of 10.

In this documentary, I watched some of the early Broadway productions of "Newsies" (a musical with British singing, very much in the vein of "Dixie", and, if not the best of the bunch, certainly the best of the British musicals I've seen). These productions (which included The Story of Ricky), were filmed in front of a green screen, so they were very difficult to see. And I was certainly not in a green screen studio, but I did have the "Cars" special on DVD, so I could see these productions (although they are not as good as the later ones). It's too bad that the original broadcast version of "Newsies" did not have the original music and singing, because the music is quite good. The songs are well done, and the songs are sung by a good variety of actors. It is really good to see John F. Kennedy in a Broadway production. I'm always a fan of those characters, and it's great to see them on screen. The production is a bit silly at times, but that is probably because there is not much to get the audience's attention. It's very hard to understand what the characters are saying. But, what I really like about the production is the acting. They all do a good job. The performers are not especially great singers, but they are good singers, and the singing is well done. The performances are well done, especially with the vocal work of the lead actors. Overall, the production is good, but I wish that the music was better. The original recording of "Newsies" is excellent. In this version, the singing is a bit bad, and the vocal work is a bit bad. It is not a bad film, but it is not as good as the original. Still, it is worth watching. * out of *

I had a great time watching this movie and it was great to see a movie about the original show back in the day. There were many times when I just wanted to cry. All the cast members did a fantastic job and it was amazing to see the original cast together for the first time in years. It was a little hard to find a place to sit during the show because the theater was packed. The most memorable moment in the movie was when that little old man in the yellow shirt said that the song "Papa" was a song from his childhood. I actually cried. The song was very emotional and the music was good. The crowd applauded at the end. The performances were very good. They all did a great job. All the actors were very believable in their roles. In fact, the best performance was probably Robin Wright as Pia. She was perfect. I also like the other performances as well. I think that this movie is great. I was really happy when I watched it and I was also sad because it was hard to find a theater in the area that would let me watch it. Overall, I think that this movie was great. It is a great movie for the entire family to enjoy. I give it a 7/10.

It was a very good movie. I didn't really like the movie that much. There was so much dancing, and it was so interesting. I love musicals. I think it was a very good movie. It's like a love story and a comedy, but it's a musical. It's a very good movie.

I saw this movie on TV, and I'm not a big fan of musicals. But I did like this movie, and I think I might have to watch it again, maybe more than once. It's about a group of newsboys, and they have to go to England for the first time. They find their way to the palace of King Edward the 6th, but his wife and kids want them to stay. The King sends his sons, but they refuse. They have to make a choice: stay with the king, or be killed. They have to make a choice and face the consequences. This movie has a very interesting plot, and the music is great. The story is a bit silly, but the music is awesome. I recommend this movie.

The television show's popularity led to the Broadway musical in 1981, but this version of the story was shot in 1972, while the first film was filmed in 1966. As far as the production quality is concerned, it's great. It has a very high production quality for a 1972 film, which is quite a feat. The costumes and sets are wonderful and the set design is good. The music is also good, especially the songs sung by Lauren Holly and the choreography by P.J. Purcell is great. The choreography is a bit over the top, but I think that's to make the movie feel a bit more epic and grandiose. Overall, this is a great production and I recommend it to any fan of the television show, or even to fans of the musical itself.
