This movie explores the turbulent life of the charismatic Mary Stuart (Saoirse Ronan). Queen of France at sixteen and widowed at eighteen, Mary defies pressure to remarry. Instead, she returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne. But Scotland and England fall under the rule of the compelling Elizabeth I (Margot Robbie). Each young Queen beholds her "sister" in fear and fascination. Rivals in power and in love, and female regents in a masculine world, the two must decide how to play the game of marriage versus independence. Determined to rule as much more than a figurehead, Mary asserts her claim to the English throne, threatening Elizabeth's sovereignty. Betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies within each court imperil both thrones - and change the course of history.

I was very surprised to see that this movie was a remake of a popular stage play. That surprised me since I had never heard of the play. It is not a movie I would go to see, but a movie I would have to see, to be able to say that it was a remake. The movie itself is a bit slow moving, and the dialogue is not the best, but it is very entertaining. The actors are very good, and I would recommend this movie to anyone. 9/10.

I have not seen this film in a long time, but I remember it fondly. The film is of course set in the early 16th Century, when Scotland was at war with England. There is a sense of history and historical accuracy to the film, with many details taken from actual historical accounts. The film does not shy away from the issue of Scottish independence, but it also allows the viewer to see Scotland as an interesting place to visit. The setting in the Highlands and a castle which sits on a rocky island, is probably one of the best-known parts of the film. There is also a very strong sense of English and Scottish culture throughout the film. The scenery of Scotland is breathtaking and the acting is generally very good. The problem with the film is the pacing. The pacing could have been better, but the story is so much better. The film does a good job of explaining the issues of Scotland at the time, but it does not spend enough time exploring the issues. The film is a bit too long, but the pacing is just right. The characterizations of the English, Scots and English-Irish are very well done. This is a very good film, and one of the best Scottish films in a long time.

A relatively straight forward biopic, with a few relatively large holes in the plot. The performances were great. Hugh Grant was not the best choice for the lead, but he was great. Daniel Day-Lewis, the other character, was great as well. He was simply so convincing in his role. The only problem was that, while he was a great choice for the role, I didn't think he was the best choice for the character. He was too different from the book. I didn't feel he was portrayed well enough for me. But overall, the performances were great and the story was great. All in all, an amazing movie, and a must see for anyone who is a fan of the book.

This film is a movie about a part of the British Empire, that was the Queen Mary, a Royal ship, a Royal Naval Command Ship, commissioned in 1713. The Queen Mary is a ship designed to carry a royal fleet, and was commissioned for the Queen Mary's only mission. She was to escort the royal fleet to the Battle of Trafalgar, a naval battle that was to be fought during the War of the Austrian Succession. This battle was fought during the Napoleonic Wars. This film is a very well made film about the Queen Mary and its mission. The Queen Mary's mission is to escort the Royal Fleet, which is to be armed with cannons, for the Battle of Trafalgar. The crew of the Queen Mary is mainly the crew members who served on the Queen Mary, including its captain, the captain's son, and the second in command. One of the crew members is Captain Richard James, played by Christopher Plummer. Captain James has a young son, a beautiful daughter, and a beautiful wife. One of the ship's officers, who is played by the brilliant, Michael Gambon, is the second in command, and is a very loyal officer. This film is well made. The acting is great, especially by the crew members. I was impressed by this film. It is not a historical film, but a good story about the Queen Mary. I highly recommend this film to everyone.

I have seen many of Jackson's films, I think I am a big fan. But this film takes the cake. It is without a doubt the best picture of 2006. If you like history, then this film is a must see. However, if you don't like history then it is a different story. I give this film an 8/10. Thank you to everyone who has seen this film and I am sure many will agree with me. I would recommend this film to anyone who loves a great historical drama and is not easily offended.

As a proud Welshman, I thought this was a very brave film to make about the history of Wales. The Welsh people were portrayed as very proud of their history and they deserve better treatment from the British Government than they are receiving at the moment. The film is very accurate about the development of Wales, and the problems the British Government are facing. The acting was excellent, especially Richard Harris as the Prince. I have watched this film many times, and I still find it enjoyable.

I know this is a hard movie to review, because everyone has their own opinion about it, but I found this movie to be an excellent portrayal of the death penalty, and I think the Academy should have given this movie the Oscar for best movie of the year. I think this movie is an excellent piece of work, it gives a very clear picture of how the people who are facing the death penalty are really feeling about the process. I really enjoyed the way this movie showed the movie behind the scenes and gave you a glimpse into the thought process of those who are facing the death penalty. I think it is very important to show the outside world, the outside world and how the system works. The actors and actresses did a great job in this movie, and I would definitely recommend watching it. It was very emotional and I cried throughout most of it. It was very interesting, and I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who has not seen it yet, because it is a great movie.

This is the third of a trilogy of documentaries that are taking place over a year. The first one was about the Queen's reign from 1952 to 1957. The second one was about her reign from 1957 to 1964. In this movie, we see the Queen at her prime as Queen Elizabeth II. She is seen as being very strong, strong and determined, not to be intimidated by her opponents. It is not long before the people in her government begin to realize that she is being treated very unfairly and begin to act. This movie is a look at the political scene in Britain, the world's most powerful country. The film covers a wide range of topics, from the challenges of the 1960s to the issues of the 1990s, including the welfare reform that resulted in the downfall of the welfare state. The government of Tony Blair was very successful in manipulating the public and politicians for political gain, including the demise of Margaret Thatcher, the queen's most difficult opponent during the reign of the queen. The film is divided into three parts, each lasting approximately 1 1/2 hours. The first part covers the transition of the queen into the role of queen. This is an overview of the progress of the queen, the early years of her reign and her reign as queen. The second part covers the mid 1960s and the second part covers the 1990s. This film is a great source of information for anyone who wishes to understand the queen and the people who are trying to control her. It also provides a very realistic view of what life was like for the royal family during the reign of the queen. This is a great documentary that is well worth seeing. I would recommend this film to anyone.

This is a good movie that we will see many times over again. I think it is very realistic and there are few things I have changed from the book. I also like the idea that it is based on a true story and that the movie makers went to great lengths to make sure the characters are accurate to the actual events. This is the first time I have seen a movie based on a true story that has been done well, and I am very glad they did this one.

My main reason for going to see this film was seeing Kate Winslet and I think she is one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood. The first time I saw this film I didn't really know what to think. I did not expect to be taken in and really connect with this character. The second time I saw it I was completely hooked. I had no idea how much I would like this movie. I have always been a huge fan of historical dramas and this film delivers in every way possible. Kate Winslet gives a completely riveting performance and every scene she is in has a huge impact on the viewer. The romance between Elizabeth and Charles is not what you would expect, but it works. Their relationship is very believable and I believe they would have made a great couple if it weren't for all the political stuff. I think everyone would be surprised at the way they portray the reign of Charles II. They portray Charles as a sad, boring, lazy man who doesn't do anything for his country. The movie really portrays him as this sad, boring, and unlikable man. The historical details are also very accurate and believable. The costumes, scenery, and settings of the period are all wonderful. The costumes and scenery are stunning and give a realistic feel to the film. The scenery of Scotland are beautiful. The costumes are also very well done and add to the realism. The scenery and costumes of the period are beautifully detailed. The actors in this film are also great. Jude Law, Liam Neeson, and Kate Winslet all do a fantastic job. I have seen them in other historical dramas, and they all did great jobs. The best thing about this film is that it gives you an accurate portrayal of the reign of Charles II. Charles II was a very boring and boring man. He was just completely stupid. His only purpose in life was to rule England and rule his country. He is a boring man and I think this film shows that very well. This film also has a very realistic feel to it. The only thing I can say is that this film is not perfect. The storyline is not always believable and I could have done without some of the historical inaccuracies. However, I think that this film is definitely worth seeing and if you haven't seen it yet, do so! I can't wait to see this film again and again!

This is an exceptional, beautifully crafted film about the reign of King Henry VIII and the periods in which he ruled. The film's subjects include the man himself, Queen Elizabeth I, the barons and lords of the court, the aristocracy, the local people and a number of other subjects. This is an extremely well-made film that shows Henry VIII in a good light. The music, set design and costumes are also top-notch. The acting is superb, with a great cast including Peter Ustinov as Henry, Timothy Dalton as Henry's brother-in-law Sir Walter Raleigh, Rupert Everett as the Duke of Buckingham, Michael Quinn as Sir John Dudley, Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Sir John Stafford, David Hemming as Sir Thomas More and Colin Firth as Sir Thomas More. Also starring the great John Gielgud as Henry's father Henry VIII, and the lovely Fiona Shaw as his mother Catherine of Aragon. The film is a great account of the reign of Henry VIII and is also a wonderful film to view for any fan of the Tudors. Highly recommended.

There's a great quote in this film, from George VI's brother, Edward VII, "A king must always love his subjects, and I never loved any more than I love my brother". If only this film was made today it would probably be better than it is. We live in a nation that really does hate its royal family. People are now saying that they are "truly" jealous of the monarchy. But if you look at the evidence it's obvious that the monarchy is loved by the public, the nobility, the aristocracy, the clergy and the lower classes. And there is evidence that there is a strong desire to remain part of the family. Queen Elizabeth has a very low approval rating and people love her. It's a shame that a film could be made about her that does not deal with her love for the monarchy. When I think of the monarchy I think of the nobility, the aristocracy and the clergy. I'm sure that any film that is made about the monarchy will have this theme. There is evidence of this throughout the history of the monarchy. It's probably the case that a film about the royal family should not include the royal family. This is an important issue for people to understand. People who are considering a career in politics should also understand this and their careers will be hindered by it. This is not just a film about the monarchy, but it is a film about royal family and their history and people who support them and their families should see this film.

I really enjoyed this film and thought it was excellent. I have been a fan of Firth's since "Luther" and I thought that this was an excellent movie about a real life story. I was shocked to find out that many people had found the film offensive and very few people had even bothered to read the book. I think the movie does a good job of telling the story, and it was interesting to see how the world was at the time. I am glad that I read the book, and I would definitely buy the DVD if they ever make it.

To this day I'm still thinking about the movie I saw at the theater and how it made an impression on me. I remember a sense of dread, a sense of imminent danger, a sense of the scale of evil in the background. I felt compelled to go to the bathroom after watching it and change immediately. That's the feeling I have about this movie. It's a movie that is so memorable, you can't look away. It was great and has the power to change you in ways you can't imagine. The plot was well thought out and the actors were great. I would recommend it for everyone who has ever felt like you could do anything with a gun. If you haven't, you need to see it. It will make you feel like you're in the movie. It has great special effects, good music, and great acting. It's a movie that you will always remember. 9/10

One of the best historical films I have seen. I have watched this movie twice, and each time, I felt the impact of the movie more than once. This movie is more of a history lesson than a historical drama, but it is not a waste of time either. This movie will not disappoint you, it will tell you a story you will remember for a long time. I give this movie a 9 out of 10. The costumes, the sets, the music, and the acting were all perfect. I recommend you to watch this movie as soon as you can. I can't wait to see it again!
